Gündogan assumes Sane whereabouts

Ilkay Gündogan assumes that Leroy Sane will remain in Manchester City. “I don’t know much, but I know a little. At the moment I assume that Leroy will stay,” said Gündogan after the public training of the national team in Aachen about his team-mate at the English championship.

Sane had recently lost his regular spot with team manager Pep Guardiola. The German record champion Bayern Munich has great interest in a commitment of the offensive player.

Bayern boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge denied today in Sport Bild that he had made an offer for the wingman: “We did not make an offer for Leroy Sane. It’s not that far yet.”

The Munich players are currently only in talks with the player: “First the player has to decide whether he can imagine coming to FC Bayern”.
