Former Dutch professional footballer Ruud Gullit has called for social change in view of the racism protests following the death of African-American George Floyd. “Something drastic has to happen, almost like a revolution,” Gullit said on the “Football Show” of the British channel “Sky Sports News”. “I hope, of course, that it will be a non-violent revolution, but something has to happen. The black community is afraid that although everyone is talking about it now, in three months’ time everything will be the same as it was before, with nothing changing,” said the 57-year-old former international.
