Future of Hazard remains uncertain

Belgian international Eden Hazard of Chelsea FC has revealed that he remains unsure whether he will continue to play for the Blues next season or is planning to leave London this summer.

“I’m not worried about that right now. At the moment, I’m only thinking about winning something with this club,” said the 28-year-old after his triumph in the Europa League semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt (5:4 A.D.) at BT Sport and added: “If the final is my last game for Chelsea, I’ll do everything I can to win it.

For some time now, speculation about a possible farewell for the winger, whose contract with Chelsea expires in 2020, has been persistent. Spain’s record champions Real Madrid are considered favourites for any commitment.

Hazard moved from Lille to London in the summer of 2012 and has since played 350 competitive games for Chelsea (108 goals, 91 assists). With the Blues, the Belgian won the Premier League twice (2015 and 2017).
