BVB newcomer Jude Bellingham celebrates tears goodbye

With a 1-3 defeat on the last day of the game, the Birmingham City chapter ended on Wednesday night for BVB newcomer Jude Bellingham. It was obviously hard for the youngster to say goodbye to his club.

Jude Bellingham was overwhelmed by his emotions when the number 22 on the exchange indicator lit up in the 75th minute. The 17-year-old burst into tears under the applause of his teammates and buried his face desperately in his jersey.

“I tried my best to hide,” Bellingham, who was visibly touched, explained after his last appearance for the English second division.

“I love this club, I’m just a huge fan,” added the teenager, who joins BVB for around 25 million euros: “Whatever happens, I’ll always be a blue. This is my club.”
