Fans of the Seagulls can have doubles made for 20 pounds (approx. 22.50 euros), which will be set up on the grandstands. A part of the proceeds will be donated.
“Fans can send us a photo to be part of the action at the last five home games,” the club said. Unlike in Gladbach, however, the figures cannot be placed on a desired seat.
In Mönchengladbach, the fan project launched the cardboard comrades campaign and generated enormous interest. For the home game against VfL Wolfsburg on 16 June, 21,000 fan doubles are to be placed in Borussia-Park.
Brighton currently lie just two points ahead of the relegation zone in the Premier League. In the first game after the Corona break, FC Arsenal will be guests on 20 June.
