Arnautovic before moving to Shanghai: “Coaches and players don’t want him anymore”

The Causa Arnautovic slowly reaches its climax. After a strike followed by a contract extension last season, another change request and a mud fight over advisor and brother Danijel Arnautovic this season, a change to China is now imminent.

This is curious because the striker actually has an exit clause in the amount of around 50 million euros, which he can also communicate publicly according to the contract. But due to the bad behavior no club is willing to spend this sum, so West Ham had to lower the demands now. Last summer, a Chinese club was willing to pay over 50 million euros for Arnautovic – the “Hammers” refused.

Slowly the causa seems to come to an end. At Shanghai SIPG, Arnautovic will face ex-Chelsea player Oscar and ex-Zenit player Hulk among others, but will also be the biggest star in the club. The salary spheres in which Marko Arnautovic will find himself in China have not yet penetrated.
