Team manager Carlo Ancelotti and players of the English first division football team FC Everton have followed the measures of the club bosses and accepted salary cuts. In an e-mail to the Toffees’ fans, CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale wrote that Ancelotti and his staff had accepted voluntary cuts and deferrals of up to 30 per cent of their salaries since the crisis began in mid-March.
A number of professional team players have even agreed to voluntary deferrals, some of which would amount to up to 50 percent of their salaries for the next three months. “Anyone who accepts cuts and deferrals has volunteered to do so,” Barrett-Baxendale said.
