For many experts, the semi-final between FC Barcelona and FC Liverpool is the early final of this year’s Champions League season. While Barca finally wants to win the premier class again after 2015, the Reds were already very close in the 2018 final. In the quarter finals, both teams won the match with aplomb: Barca eliminated Manchster United and Liverpool defeated FC Porto.

The game between Barca and the Reds starts today, Wednesday, May 1st, at 9 pm. The game takes place in the venerable Camp Nou in Barcelona. The referee of the match is the experienced Dutchman Björn Kuipers. His assistants are Mario Diks and Erwin Zeinstra. The fourth official is the Greek Anastasios Sidiropoulos.

You can watch the second semi-final of the king class 2018/19 live on DAZN. DAZN reports live from 20.45 o’clock on the game with presenter Alex Schlüter, commentator Jan Platte and the experts Ralph Gunesch and Sebastian Kneissl.

DAZN of course also broadcasts the return leg and the second match between Ajax Amsterdam and the Tottenham Hotspur. The final in the new Atletico Madrid stadium can also be seen on DAZN. In addition, DAZN has the NBA playoffs as well as the last season matches of the Premier League, Primera Division, Serie A, Ligue 1 and much more on offer. The weekend will also see the big boxing event between the world champions Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs.

The first month at DAZN is free, afterwards the complete offer of the platform costs only 9,99 Euro per month and can be cancelled at any time.

The game can’t be seen on Free TV. But Sky shows the match between FC Barcelona and FC Liverpool. Sky Sport 1 HD starts at 7.30 pm. Michael Leopold will moderate. The guests are Dietmar Hamann, Erik Meijer, Karl-Heinz Riedle and Miguel Gutierrez. Commentator of the game is Wolf Fuss. Sky also offers a livestream via Sky Go.

In addition to the livestream and TV broadcast, you can also follow the game in the LIVETICKER on SOCCERSCORE.

Ernesto Valverde can draw on Barca’s wealth. Jürgen Klopp has to hope on the other side that the battered Firmino, Lallana and Fabinho will be fit in time. However, all three players are not seriously injured.

Real Madrid were the first team to win the Champions League three times in a row. Last year the royals defeated FC Liverpool and coach Jürgen Klopp 3-1 in a dramatic final.
