Central defender Virgil van Dijk of FC Liverpool has missed the final training before the semi-final return match in the Champions League against FC Barcelona (Tuesday, 9pm live on DAZN and in LIVE-TICKER).
Offensive player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could also not train with the team of coach Jürgen Klopp. The Reds only announced via a club spokesperson that both would work individually.
It remains to be seen whether the duo can help the team catch up 3-0 from the first leg. Definitely not available to the Reds are the two attacking stars Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
While Salah had apparently suffered a head injury last Saturday in a 3-2 win against Newcastle keeper Dubravka, Firmino have been plagued by muscular problems for several weeks now.
In the first leg with the Catalans, the Brazilians were only able to play for a short time, while in the league Firmino missed the matches against Huddersfield and Newcastle.
