Riot: 20 weeks imprisonment for Ajax hooligans

Published on

A court in London sentenced four hooligans from Amsterdam to 20 weeks in prison.

The quartet had taken part in violent riots against Spurs supporters at the end of April in London before the Champions League semi-final between Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax Amsterdam, partly in disguise.

They had thrown glass bottles, bricks and other objects. Three police officers were injured by the four rioting Ajax problem fans. This is what the Dutch daily De Volkskrant reports.

The court also imposed a six-year stadium ban on the quartet.
