With Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund – and thus also Jadon Sancho – have a name to look forward to in the Champions League round of 16. A former coach now revealed interesting details about the highly talented winger.
The French magazine “France Football” spoke to Sayce Holmes-Lewis, one of Sancho’s first coaches, about his childhood and early youth. He first saw Sancho at the age of six, “even then he was an excellent player, I liked him very much,” the coach reported.
But Sancho was not only a high-flyer on the football field, but “in everything he did, he was very good”, his ex-coach described. “He was an excellent student. I also taught him physical education and he was brilliant in cricket, flag rugby, athletics and basketball. But, of course, his great love was football.”
