The 19-year-old striker Martell Taylor-Crossdale of Chelsea FC is apparently on the verge of moving to TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. Already in May SOCCERSCORE and Goal had reported of the interest of the Kraichgauer.
According to information from Sky, the Englishman is already on his way to Germany to complete the obligatory medical check. Taylor-Crossdale’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the month, which would leave the offensive man free.
Last season Taylor-Crossdale played for Chelsea’s U23 in Premier League 2 and scored one goal in 15 competitive games. The London-born also scored two goals in two games for the English U20 team.
After Arsenals Reiss Nelson, he would be the next English talent to come to Hoffenheim. Nelson was loaned to TSG last season and now returns to FC Arsenal.
