Borussia Dortmund allegedly wants to bring back Mats Hummels from FC Bayern. This report picture and sports picture in unison.

Accordingly, concrete discussions had already taken place between BVB and the FCB in this respect. The Dortmunders are said to have officially deposited their interest with the Munich bosses.

In addition, the FCB’s top officials informed coach Niko Kovac that Hummels might be sold. The latter had accepted this.

The redemption is to amount to 15 to 20 million euros plus success-based discounts. The BVB apparently plans to use Hummels as a central building block to attack the Bavarians in the coming season.

According to the report, whether the transfer actually takes place depends on the transfer and on Hummels himself. The 30-year-old central defender would have to accept a loss of salary.

Hummels earns more than 12 million euros per year with the Bavarians, and a little less than 10 million euros with the BVB.

Hummels, who already played in Dortmund from 2008 to 2016 and then moved to Munich, is still under contract with the FCB until 2021. In the past season he played 33 compulsory games.
