Bundesliga: The goal scorer list for the 2018/19 Bundesliga season: Who will receive the Tojäger cannon?

The 2018/19 Bundesliga season is drawing to a close, but many questions remain unanswered: Who will be the champion? Who’s getting off? Who will play international next year? And: Who grabs the scorer cannon? SOCCERSCORE tells you which players are currently the most accurate in the Bundesliga.

In the championship the race is slowly but surely coming to a head, FC Bayern and BVB are only one point apart after this 30th matchday. And there is also a duel in the scoring list between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich.

But Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski’s advantage over BVB player Paco Alcacer is a bit more comfortable there: the Pole currently has 21 goals on his account, Alcacer “only” scores 17 so far. However, the Spaniard has also played a full seven games less this season than Lewandowski.

Eintracht Frankfurt is also one of the high-flyers of the season, currently ranked fourth in the Champions League. Luka Jovic played a major role in the success of the Adler. Just like Alcacer, the Serb has scored 17 times in the league so far, so he’s being hunted by Europe’s top clubs and could leave the Bundesliga for Spain this summer after two years.

No surprise: The top ten scorers represent the best teams in the league: TSG Hoffenheim, the third-strongest offensive team of the season, are doubled in the top ten, as are Frankfurt, Leipzig, Dortmund and Bavaria.

If Robert Lewandowski were to become top scorer this year, the Pole would have the most goals in a Bundesliga season for the fourth time. Last season Lewandowski scored 29 times, of which he is still a good way off this season.

As in almost all categories of the eternal Bundesliga best lists, FC Bayern also leads the list in the category of top scorers: In 17 years a Munich player has scored the most hits, which is a lonely peak value. Second place: 1st FC Cologne and Borussia Dortmund, who each scored the top goal in five seasons.
