Bundesliga: Easter Egg Flood in Wolfsburg! Fans protest against Monday games

A curiosity in the early phase of the Monday match between VfL Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt: After a few seconds a short interruption occurred due to a flood of Easter eggs.

Immediately after the kick-off, several colourful Easter egg dummies flew from the guest block onto the lawn. Referee Marco Fritz was forced to interrupt the match. Players and helpers removed the items together. After about three minutes it went on.

With this campaign the Eintracht supporters showed their aversion to Monday games. The Wolfsburg fans also protested with songs against the DFB and various banners. “Shift worker versus Monday games,” it said on one.
