Maurizio Sarri is, as expected, the new coach of Italian record holder Juventus Turin with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 60-year-old returns to his home country from Europa League winner FC Chelsea and signs a three-year contract with the old lady until 2022, when Juve will transfer some six million euros to London to replace his dream coach.
“He made it clear to us in talks after the Europa League final how much he wanted a return to his home country,” said Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia. “It’s important to him to be closer to his family.”
Juve had been looking for a new coach after the separation from coach Massimiliano Allegri in mid-May. Allegri had given Juventus the championship title but missed the Champions League final.
