Eintracht Frankfurt apparently deals with a return of Kevin-Prince Boateng. That’s what the Bild-Zeitung and the kicker report on Monday.
The 32-year-old is still under contract with the Italian first division team US Sassuolo Calcio until 2021, but a renewed engagement with the Hessians is quite conceivable.
Boateng had left Eintracht for Italy after winning the 2018 Cup. But after a few months Boateng was lent to FC Barcelona. Despite the purchase option, the Spanish master waived a firm commitment.
Following the departure of strikers Luka Jovic (Real Madrid) and Sebastien Haller (West Ham United), Frankfurt is looking for reinforcements.
