“Riddles”: Reus violation raises question mark

With the signing of Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund has undoubtedly hit the bull’s eye this winter. Twelve goals in eight appearances have made the young Norwegian one of the most feared and at the same time most sought-after strikers in the world. No wonder that the competition is looking at Dortmund with a little envy – and so is Eintracht Frankfurt.

In a “Bild” interview, SGE Supervisory Board boss Wolfgang Steubing now spoke about the shooting star of the Bundesliga.

“In an extreme case, it might have been a good idea to sign a Haaland for 21 million,” explained the 70-year-old, but then he qualified: “But he wouldn’t have come to us! Because Dortmund plays much more successfully than Eintracht.”
