Ribery: These were my best moments in the FCB jersey

Altstar Frank Ribery will leave the German record champion Bayern Munich at the end of the season after twelve years. At his last press conference on Säbener Strasse on Tuesday afternoon, the Frenchman remembered the most beautiful moments in the FCB dress.

“There were many beautiful games here in my years,” said the offensive man and explained: “But 2013 was the best for me and FC Bayern. That was insane, great, just a dream. This season I still have incredibly beautiful pictures in my head.”

Ribery thus alluded to the 2012/13 season, in which the Bavarians had finally won the triple of Champions League, German Championship and DFB Cup on the Isar.

He also spontaneously remembered his best personal score for the Munich team. “That was my goal against Gladbach.” On the last matchday of the 2013 title season, Ribery had placed a cross from Philipp Lahm’s 18-metre volley with his left foot in the corner of the foal’s housing and was subsequently awarded the trophy for goal of the month in May.
