As expected, Bavaria Munich has bid farewell to his loan player Philippe Coutinho to his regular club FC Barcelona.
“With his creativity and excellent technique, he revived our game in the triple season,” club manager Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said on Wednesday about the 28-year-old Brazilian who scored eleven goals in 38 competitive matches last season and prepared a further nine. Coutinho’s contract had been renewed due to the corona pandemic and the Champions League final tournament. A final commitment was out of the question for the Munich players, who had initially borrowed the midfielder for 8.5 million euros, also because of his fixed redemption of 120 million euros. FC Bayern, on the other hand, is still interested in a firm commitment on the part of Ivan Perisic of Inter Milan, who has so far only been loaned out.
