Augsburg kicker Martin Hinteregger is likely to lose his patience. While the ÖFB defender is still waiting for his move to Eintracht Frankfurt, the 26-year-old has recourse to special funds: As reported by Bild, Hinteregger skipped the photo session with FCA.
Obviously, the negotiations between Augsburg and Frankfurt seem to be stalling. According to media reports, FCA is demanding around 15 million euros for the former central defender of Red Bull Salzburg. Frankfurt should rather have ten million in mind.
Augsburg coach Martin Schmidt is hoping for the professionalism of the Austrian. “The conversations with him were positive. He experienced euphoria in Frankfurt, so I can understand his statements. But he is a 100 percent professional: he knows that he has a contract in Augsburg, that he has to be fully committed. He knows the market economy and knows that things cannot come about. He behaves very professionally and appreciates our values,” the Swiss comments on Sport Bild.
