Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt has achieved a record purchase with part of the transfer for Luka Jovic (70 million Euro/Real Madrid). The Hessians will fetch the Swiss national player Djibril Sow for nine million euros (plus possible bonus payments) from the Swiss champion Young Boys Bern.

“Djibril has been highly coveted in the market,” said sports director Fredi Bobic about the 22-year-old midfielder in the kicker: “We are happy that we are getting such a player.

The boy has taken a great development and a tremendous amount of potential.” Sows former club Borussia Mönchengladbach is to participate in the transfer, according to information from Rheinische Post. The player was under contract with the foals from 2015 to 2017.

The most expensive newcomer to the Frankfurt team to date was French striker Sebastien Haller, for whom Eintracht transferred seven million euros to FC Utrecht two years ago.
