Ralf Rangnick is clearly seen by Chelsea FC as a possible successor to coach Maurizio Sarri. Tyler Adams could be back on RBL at the start of preparation. Here you can find all news and rumours about RB Leipzig.
As the picture reports, FC Chelsea could present Ralf Rangnick with an offer as head coach. Rangnick is supposed to be on a short list of possible coach candidates for the Blues.
The reason for his involvement with Chelsea was that Rangnick recently stressed that he was not yet too old for a new coaching job and that he sees the Premier League as an attractive goal.
However, it is questionable to what extent he is still interested in a commitment for the coming season. Rangnick recently created his own position as head of football in the Red Bull group and will now watch over the growing RB clubs globally.
Sarri is currently still under contract in London. The Italian, however, is considered by Juventus to be the successor of the outgoing Massimiliano Allegri. Despite their triumph in the Europa League, Sarri could leave Chelsea after just one year.
Further adductor problems prevented Leipzig’s Tyler Adams from participating in the Gold Cup. The US international will be out for six to eight weeks, the USA association had announced.
As the kicker writes, the medical department of RB Leipzig recommended to the association not to let Adams participate in the national tournament starting at the weekend. According to their own investigations, this request was allegedly complied with.
The magazine now reports that Adams’ downtime will be shortened, so he won’t miss out on much of the preparation for the new season. Instead, RBL reckons that Adams will be fit again when the training starts on July 8th and will therefore only have to take a break for about four weeks.
