Bundesliga: Paderborn extended with coach Baumgart

Bundesliga promoted SC Paderborn rewards his coach Steffen Baumgart with a contract extension at the start of the season.

The East Westphalians announced on Thursday during the press conference before the opening match against Bayer Leverkusen (Saturday, 15.30 in the LIVETICKER) the extension of the contractually fixed cooperation by one year until 2021.

“We can hardly wait for what we have earned over two years,” said Baumgart (47), who had taken the SCP from the third to the first league. “It’s pure happiness for me that we’re starting in the Bundesliga on Saturday. I’m really looking forward to seeing if we have this stuff.”
