News-Ticker about the Bundesliga-Salzburg-Coach Marsch apparently coach candidate at BVB

After the current coach of Borussia Dortmund, Lucien Favre, who came second in the standings, will probably go away empty-handed in his second year, BVB is probably looking for a successor. As reported by the newspaper “Sport Bild”, Salzburg’s successful coach Jesse Marsch is to be at the top of the list of favourites in the black-yellow division. The US-American still has a contract with the Austrian serial champion until 2022.

Marsch (46) already has Bundesliga experience. Last season he was co-coach of Ralf Rangnick (61) at RB Leipzig before he became head coach at the sister club in Salzburg in July 2019. Marsch also formed Dortmund’s top striker Erling Haaland, who was under contract with RB Salzburg until the winter.
