Star striker Robert Lewandowski will probably extend his contract with record champion FC Bayern Munich for another two years until 2023. This will be reported by the TV station Sky on Friday evening.
According to the report, the Bavarians have already reached an agreement with Poland and its advisor Pini Zahavi. Until Lewandowski returns from his summer vacation, only the last details remain to be clarified.
Last summer, Lewandowski was still striving for a farewell from Munich. At that time, however, FCB officials put a stop to a possible change.
Lewandowski had moved from Borussia Dortmund to Säbener Straße in 2014 without a replacement. In the past season, the 30-year-old scored 40 goals in 47 competitive games.
