Leverkusen without Amiri for now

Published on

Nadiem Amiri is not available to Bayer Leverkusen “for the time being”. According to the club, the well-formed offensive man suffered a capsular rupture of the acromioclavicular joint in the DFB Cup quarter-final against Union Berlin on Wednesday evening (3:1). He had therefore been replaced during the half-time break. Mitchell Weiser had come into the game and is also the first option to represent Amiri in the upcoming Bundesliga home game against Eintracht Frankfurt. However, coach Peter Bosz Weiser (kicker grade 6) had already taken Amiri off the pitch after half an hour for a 3-0 win in the first leg.
