Leipzig probably trying to get bus quits

RB Leipzig has allegedly expressed interest in midfield talent Oriol Busquets at FC Barcelona. This is what the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reports on.

According to this, several clubs from the top European leagues knocked on Barca’s door because of bus queues. The most concrete is the interest of the people of Leipzig, who, according to the report, would even like to commit the 20-year-old Spaniard firmly.

Barca prefers a loan, though. Just last July, the Spanish champion Busquets, who could follow in the footsteps of his namesake Sergio in the midfield centre on a long-term basis, signed a new contract with Busquets until 2021 – including an exit clause amounting to 200 million euros.

As Frenkie de Jong’s appointment will increase the competition at Barca’s control centre, the Blaugrana Busquets would like to put Busquets in a top-of-the-line league to give him the highest level of playing practice.

Last season Busquets only played once for the pros (Copa del Rey against Leonesa), otherwise he played for Barcas B-Team in the third league.
