“Lambo” flashy video: Max Meyer “deeply shocked”

Max Meyer, the former FC Schalke 04 midfielder, has criticised a video of his own father with clear words. In it, Achim Meyer, who is denigrating the district club, can be seen. “There’s no better way, men. Through the forbidden city, Gelsenkirchen, to the tax consultant. Nice with the paid Lambo from the bankruptcy club. Wonderful”, were the words in the clip, which quickly spread on Twitter.
On Thursday evening his son Max immediately took a stand: “I have just been made aware of a video of my father. I am deeply shocked by this video. It doesn’t fit into my world, it doesn’t fit into this time, it doesn’t fit into any time.”

He owes “Schalke 04 very, very much” and dissociates himself “decidedly from the nature and content of this video”, Meyer wrote in the Instagram post.
