Bruno Labbadia, outgoing coach at VfL Wolfsburg, does not see his future in Germany. The trend is going “abroad”, said the 53-year-old in an interview with Sport Bild.
A return to his former club Hamburger SV, for which he has already worked twice, is currently out of the question. “I didn’t deal with that,” said Labbadia.
The long-time Bundesliga coach, who did not want to extend his expiring contract in Wolfsburg of his own free will, takes his time when looking for a club. He rejected two offers from abroad last week, said Labbadia: “If nothing exciting comes, I take a break and enjoy my life and the time with my family”.
First Labbadias full concentration applies to the last season play with the VfL on Saturday (15.30 o’clock in the Liveticker) against the FC Augsburg. “The joy of the last game is huge, precisely because we can reach Europe on our own,” he said and spoke of an “emotional farewell, because I enjoyed working with this team very much”.
