KHR tells Rafinha and seal anecdote

Published on

FC Bayern Munich has had an intense weekend with winning the German championship. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge gave two anecdotes about the outgoing stars Rafinha and Arjen Robben. Renato Sanches wants more playing time. Here you can find all news and rumours about the FCB.

Bayern Munich’s CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told an anecdote about Rafinha’s time in the Bavarian capital at the FC Bayern Munich championship party. “Rafa is my near neighbor. And ever since he has been my almost neighbor, the police have come by every now and then when Brazilian-style barbecues are celebrated in summer,” he is quoted by tz.

But since Rafinha didn’t let himself be impressed by the police, the neighbours went on to contact Rummenigge instead of the law enforcement officers: “I told them then, no problem, you just have to buy ear protectors, then you’ll have peace of mind”. From 1 July, the neighbours will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet – Rafinha will leave the FCB.

Also in the case of Arjen Robben Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was able to give a memory to the best. “Arjen is a great man. But what particularly pleased me was that after 2012 we had this fucking finale”, explained the CEO during his speech.

One year later FC Bayern once again reached the final of the Champions League. As usual, Rummenigge sat in the Wembley next to Uli Hoeneß in the grandstand: “85th minute, Uli says to me: We have to go into extra time, the Dortmunders are completely broken. Then I said to Uli: Why? We can still score a goal now.”

One minute later Robben scored to victory: “Franck hangs up, Arjen completes, Bayern Munich is Champions League winner. That was the most emotional party I’ve ever experienced.”

The future of Renato Sanches of FC Bayern Munich is still unclear after his goal against Eintracht Frankfurt. The decisive factor will be how much playing time the record champion will offer him next year. “I’m young, want and need to play more,” said the Portuguese on the weekend.

“Anything is possible,” Sanches said about his future. What is clear, however, is that the 21-year-old is striving for more appreciation after three difficult seasons. In 2018/19 there were 24 appearances, in the previous season there were only 16 at FC Bayern and Swansea City.

The fact that he scored his first Bundesliga goal in his 50th compulsory game for FC Bayern does little to change the unsatisfactory overall situation. Sanches is still bound to the FCB until 2021. Already at the end of April he had talked about thinking about “lending or selling”.

FC Bayern Munich and BMW will probably not be working together in the future. According to the picture, the negotiations between the two parties were broken off by the record champion “due to a lack of confidence”. The contents of the contract should not have been compatible until the end.

Audi is now offering FC Bayern an extension of their existing contract. Currently this is dated to 2025, the new end would be 2031. However, with 720 million euros, Audi is probably just 80 million euros behind the offer BMW presented to locate.
