Kabak is allowed to leave when relegated

Central defender Ozan Kabak is likely to leave VfB Stuttgart for only 15 million euros in the event of a relegation. That’s what the picture says.

Accordingly, the 19-year-old Turk has anchored a corresponding clause in his contract with the Swabians, which dates back to 2024. Apparently, VfB Kabak would not have received Kabak without this clause in winter, when eleven million euros were transferred to Galatasaray for it.

Kabak immediately convinced in Stuttgart and is always one of the best in coach Markus Weinzierl’s team. He has also scored three goals in eleven Bundesliga matches to date. FC Bayern are also said to have been interested last winter, the youngster’s name even circulating recently in connection with a possible move to Real Madrid.

VfB is 16th in the Bundesliga after 29 match days, six points behind 15th in the saving, and three points ahead of FC Nuremberg on the first direct relegation spot. In a possible relegation against the second league third, Union Berlin would wait as things stand at the moment.
