Bayern Munich’s president Uli Hoeneß can imagine an era with coach Niko Kovac. Alphonso Davies is satisfied with his first half year at the FCB. The transfer of Leroy Sane is difficult. Here you can find all news and rumours about the FCB.

Bayern Munich’s president Uli Hoeneß can imagine a long cooperation with coach Niko Kovac. “I think we made more very attractive games in the second half of the season. If this number continues to improve, then Niko Kovac may usher in an era,” he is quoted by Sport Bild.

Hoeneß made it clear that “the question Kovac” had never existed for him anyway: “We are on a good way and I am very confident for the new season”. Not least because the team under Kovac’s leadership managed the double: “This end compensated for everything that was difficult during the season.”

In Hoeneß’s opinion, the “final of the season against Frankfurt and the cup final against Leipzig” were “outstanding”: “Because the team and the coach won these two titles totally convincingly in the end”.

Alphonso Davies was satisfied with his first half year at FC Bayern Munich: “The five matches with the amateurs gave me more opportunities to play. I got the most out of it: two titles and one promotion. I’m happy I could help anywhere.”

The 18-year-old came to Germany in winter, but settled in quickly. There was praise from sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, among others: “Phonzy is a machine! I’m very proud of him. “We need guys like this to sacrifice themselves for the club.”

President Uli Hoeneß also stated that he liked Davies “uncanny”. He is sure to see the Canadian in the first team sooner or later. “When Uli Hoeneß says something like that about you, it feels very good,” Davies explained.

According to President Uli Hoeneß, FC Bayern Munich is running into financial limits in the transfer of Manchester City’s Leroy Sane. Not only the transfer fee to the English is the problem in the courtship of the national player. “The whole package is difficult,” Hoeneß said.

Uli Hoeneß of FC Bayern Munich has stated in the Sport Bild that he does not know Rodrigo, who has been involved in various rumours. The Atletico Madrid midfielder is therefore not known to the president.

The magazine also mentioned, however, that this was not decisive for a transfer. Hoeneß made similar statements about Lucas Hernandez, whose transfer was arranged by sports director Hasan Salihamidzic and head scout Marco Neppe. As chairman of the supervisory board, Hoeneß first has to nod off such a replacement, reports speak of 70 million euros.
