Bundesliga club Hertha BSC apparently faces the most lucrative player sale in club history. According to Italian media reports, the side player Valentino Lazaro is about to switch to Serie A at Inter Milan.
Inter is paying 22 million euros for the 23-year-old Austrian, who has been working for Hertha since 2017 and still has a contract in Berlin until 2021. With bonus payments, the transfer fee is to rise to 25 million euros. Lazaro is to receive a five-year contract in Milan.
Hertha’s previous record loss is central defender John Anthony Brooks, who transferred to VfL Wolfsburg in the summer of 2017 for around 17 million euros.
