Haaland a welcome problem

Erling Haaland himself could hardly believe it. He hadn’t dreamed of three goals, the BVB newcomer admitted after his three-goal debut with FC Augsburg – only two.

One might think that was arrogance. But that would not fit in with the young Norwegian’s appearance. Captain Marco Reus describes him as a quiet, hard-working guy. And Haaland’s other statements do not speak for his quick take-off either.

On the contrary, someone simply knows what he can do. And that’s quite a lot, as could be seen in the first 35 minutes of the Bundesliga. Above all, Haaland unintentionally put his finger on the BVB wound in the first half of the season.
