FCB attacker Wriedt probably in great demand

The attacker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt of the German record champion FC Bayern Munich has apparently aroused the interest of several clubs.

With regard to the future of the striker, the online portal fussballtransfers.com reports that Bundesliga club Hertha BSC and Norwich Cityum, among others, are courting the services of Wriedt.

The 24-year-old German-Ghanaian, who came to FC Bayern from VfL Osnabrück in the summer of 2017, wants to prove himself in a higher class in the future. Sometimes he goes on a goal hunt mainly for the second representation in the regional league.

The centre forward is said to have rejected offers from Red Bull Salzburg and KRC Genk in the winter transfer window in order to be able to participate in the title fight of the “small Bavarians” in the Bavarian regional league. Wriedt and his team are currently in first place and have one game and three more points on their account than VfB Eichstätt.

The Hamburg-born player has clear ideas about his future club: “At some point I want to play in the first or second league,” he said about a year ago in an interview with Transfermarkt.

Wriedt scored 43 goals in a total of 59 matches for FC Bayern II. For the pros, he has so far had two short appearances in the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup for the 2017/18 season.
