FC Bayern allegedly favorite on a transfer from Ozan Kabak

FC Bayern Munich apparently has good cards for a transfer of defender Ozan Kabak from VfB Stuttgart. This was reported by the Turkish TV station TRT Sport.

According to the report, no fewer than nine clubs are interested in the talented centre-back and the FCB have emerged as the favourite.

Kabak’s commitment, however, still depended on the personal details of Mats Hummel and Jerome Boateng. Only if one of the two ex-national players is sold this summer will the Bavarians want to take Kabak seriously.

Hummels is currently negotiating a return with Borussia Dortmund. A few weeks ago, FCB President Uli Hoeneß suggested that Boateng leave the Isar early.

Kabak, who moved to Stuttgart in the winter for eleven million euros and was elected newcomer of the year in the Bundesliga, can already leave the VfB because of an exit clause. The fixed redemption sum in his contract, which is valid until 2024, is to amount to 15 million euros.

The 19-year-old right foot is considered a huge talent. FC Schalke 04, FC Porto and West Ham United are also expected to show interest in Kabak.
