Eintracht interested in Liverpool strikers?

Published on

Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt is apparently dealing with a commitment by former English national striker Daniel Sturridge. According to the Times, the SBU is supposed to be in contact with the advisor of the ex-Liverpool attacker.

The 29-year-old has not had a contract since July 2019 and would therefore be entitled to a free replacement. A stay in the Premier League is rather unlikely. But there is competition for Frankfurt, because twelve more clubs are supposed to compete for Sturridge.

A decision about his future is to be made in the course of the week, although Sturridge is currently still blocking his betting because of illegal bets.

Eintracht Frankfurt are still looking for alternatives for the offensive after the retirements of Luka Jovic (Real Madrid) and Sebastien Haller (West Ham United), especially since the farewell of Ante Rebic is not yet off the table.

Sturridge had caused a stir only a few weeks ago when burglars had kidnapped his dwarf point. Only one day later the Englishman had his darling back after a big search.
