Eintracht Frankfurt is disappointed after “80 minutes top game

Published on

Eintracht Frankfurt set a new club record with 34 shots on goal. Nevertheless, the 3:3 victory over SC Freiburg was only enough for one point.
After five Bundesliga defeats in a row, Frankfurt had crashed in the table with 4:18 goals and entered the relegation battle. But Eintracht did not present itself like a relegated team this Tuesday evening. After about ten minutes, the SBU ignited a veritable firework of opportunities with top-class opportunities every minute.

“We delivered a top game for more than 80 minutes,” said coach Adi Hütter, who was able to vary his side from a 3-5-2 base, always creating massive problems for his opponents. In the end, 34-10 goals were scored in favour of Eintracht – a new club record. “We had seven, eight hundred per cent, which our strikers had to make good use of,” defender Stefan Ilsanker at “Sky” also complained.
