Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be trying to convince his former team-mate James Rodriguez to switch to Juventus Turin. As the picture reports, the Portuguese has even made contact with the 27-year-old from FC Bayern Munich via video call.
James is currently playing on loan with the Munich team, which could hire the Colombian from Real Madrid for 42 million euros this summer. According to the report, however, the German record champion is very unlikely to take this option.
A return to the royals also seems difficult, as James under coach Zinedine Zidane did not play an important role before his move to Munich.
That’s why Ronaldo apparently wants to lure him to Italy now, and the bosses of the Italian master shouldn’t be averse to an obligation of the playmaker either. But there is probably competition from their own league, because according to AS James’ former sponsor Carlo Ancelotti, who is currently on the sidelines of the SSC Naples, is also working on a transfer.
