Coutinho can imagine a change in Bavaria

Bayern wish player Philippe Coutinho can well imagine a move to Munich. Jürgen Klinsmann sees the FCB as the favourite in the coming Bundesliga season. The Munich team is threatened by a difficult group in the Champions League. Here you can find all news and rumours about FC Bayern.

After Leroy Sane’s injury, FC Bayern are still on the lookout for reinforcements for the offensive and could find FC Barcelona in the process. At the beginning of the week, the Catalans already confirmed an interest in the Brazilian on the part of the Munich team at the request of SOCCERSCORE and Goal.

Now the kicker wants to hear from the 27-year-old’s family that he could well imagine moving to Munich.

According to the report, Coutinho is currently only dealing with FC Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain. He describes an engagement in the Bavarian capital as attractive, the climate difference would not bother him and also the league would be exciting in his opinion.

However, PSG could put a spoke in Kovac and Co.’s wheel. Barca is currently working on a recall for Neymar in which Coutinho is to be involved. The Parisians demand at least two players for the superstar in return – the former Liverpool player should in any case be one of them.

Barcelona is said to have submitted two bids on Tuesday. According to information from the kicker, the talks have so far been positive from the point of view of the Spaniards.

Former national coach Jürgen Klinsmann expects another exciting fight for the title in the coming Bundesliga season, but believes that FC Bayern will take on the role of favourite.

“Due to his experience and the undisputed quality, I see the record champion in a somewhat better starting position,” the 55-year-old told the kicker. Vice champion Borussia Dortmund, however, would have “upgraded his team powerfully” and “strengthened himself very purposefully and intelligently – both qualitatively and quantitatively.”

The former Munich coach will also be particularly interested in the development of Bavaria in the era after Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. “Year one after Ribery and Robben everything is a little different,” Klinsmann said. “The Bavarians, however, have concluded a mega deal with Lucas Hernandez, and with Benjamin Pavard and Ivan Perisic have signed two more exceptional players.”

FC Bayern threatens to catch a difficult group in the group phase of the Champions League 2019/20. Although six places are still available in the playoff round, UEFA has already announced the winners.

As German champions, the Munich team are in pot 1 together with the winners of the Champions League and Europa League as well as the champions from Spain, Italy, England, France and Russia. These countries occupy places one to six in the UEFA five-year ranking.

The allocation of the other pots is also based on the UEFA five-year ranking, although the results of the playoffs are still missing here. However, in the worst case scenario the Bavarians might have to deal with Real Madrid (pot 2), Inter Milan (pot 3) and Galatasaray (pot 4).

Also Olympique Lyon (pot 2 or 3), KRC Genk (3/4) and Lokomotive Moskau (3/4) are already qualified, but not yet assigned to a pot.
