Defensive player Thomas Meunier has long been considered a potential new member of the Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund. Recently, speculation increased that the player from Paris Saint-Germain could switch to BVB next summer without being replaced.
According to the latest statements by former PSG player Jérôme Rothen, the deal between the capital cities and Dortmund’s Borussia Dortmund is practically a dead letter: “It is not only almost official. He has already signed in Dortmund. I can give this information with great certainty,” said the ex-professional, who now works as a TV expert for the broadcaster “RMC”.
The 1.90 m tall man can leave Paris in summer without transfer costs, as his working paper on the Seine expires after four years. So far Meunier has stood on the pitch 84 times for the French industry leader in Ligue 1, scoring eight goals in the process.
