BVB: The PSG change from Guerreiro hangs on to it

Doesn’t Raphael Guerreiro from Bundesliga runner-up Borussia Dortmund move to Paris Saint-Germain? According to a source from the Portuguese environment, the transfer is currently hampered by the consent of the new PSG sports director Leonardo.

“There was almost agreement with Antero Henrique (the former PSG sports director, editor’s note). But Leonardo’s arrival has stalled the transfer,” the unnamed source revealed in an interview with France Football. The insider pushed, “I think there are other priorities.”

Earlier this month, Bild reported that Guerreiro was likely to join the French champion. A transfer fee of around 15 million euros was in the offing.

A message that BVB boss Michael Zorc vehemently denied to the WAZ at the time: “I was surprised, there is no basis for this. There have been no conversations whatsoever.”

Guerreiro had changed from FC Lorient to the black-yellow team in summer 2016. His contract expires in the summer of next year.
