BVB faces challenges – no coup

The coronavirus holds the entire globe in a stranglehold. Even professional football is feeling the effects of the far-reaching protective measures – several events have been cancelled or postponed because of Covid-19. Borussia Dortmund’s share price has lost a good 35 percent in just one month, and other clubs are experiencing a similar fate. But this does not have to be a disadvantage.

Borussia Dortmund? Down 35 percent. Juventus Turin? 45% loss. And Lazio Rom? Even 50 percent. In just four weeks, the shares of Europe’s listed football clubs have gone through an unprecedented slump, analogous to the global crash.
