BVB awards pass varnish to own plant again

Borussia Dortmund has once again awarded right-back Felix Passlack, who has returned from Norwich City. The 21-year-old will play the coming season for the Dutch first division team Fortuna Sittard.

In Norwich, Passlack had a single six-minute appearance in the Premier League. The reason for this was that Max Aarons was preferred to him by coach Daniel Farke on the position:

“He simply had no arguments to change the starting eleven. We had quite a long series of successes, so the squad for each match day was basically the same. He only made position-true changes if someone was blocked or injured,” Passlack explained in the SOCCERSCORE interview his short operating time.

In the Netherlands Passlack hopes for more playing practice. Not only did he mainly push the substitutes’ bench during his loan to Norwich, but also in the 2017/18 season with his commitment to TSG Hoffenheim, the B and A junior champion was only allowed to play three times in the Bundesliga with BVB.
