Bundesliga: BVB and Bavaria agree? Hummels return apparently almost perfect

Mats Hummels’ move from FC Bayern to Borussia Dortmund is said to be imminent. As Bild am Sonntag reports, all three parties have a positive attitude towards a transfer.

According to the report, the two clubs are largely in agreement. The Bavarian bosses had accepted BVB’s offer to pay 20 million euros plus success fees for Hummel as appropriate.

There are many indications that Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeneß will give the green light.

In addition, the central defender himself could well imagine a return to Dortmund. Since Borussia is a matter close to the heart for the 30-year-old, he should also be prepared to accept salary losses.

Currently, the 2014 World Champion is expected to collect slightly more than 12 million euros per season; in Dortmund it would supposedly be just under ten million euros.

A BVB spokesman announced on Saturday that “rumours” are not commented. Already on Friday the Bild and the Sport Bild had reported on concrete talks between the two clubs. Bavaria coach Niko Kovac is said to have accepted a possible sale of Hummel.
