Borussia Dortmund match schedule

Published on

The end of the season is approaching and Borussia Dortmund will only be playing a few games before the summer break. Here you can find out when the BVB meets which opponents.

Because the Black Yellow team has already been eliminated in both the Champions League and the DFB Cup, only the remaining matches in the Bundesliga are open. However, these are of special importance due to the championship race with FC Bayern Munich.

The most important game for every BVB fan is of course the derby against FC Schalke 04, but the encounter with Werder Bremen on the 32nd matchday will be just as important. On the penultimate matchday, Fortuna Düsseldorf will be the winner of the first round with a surprising 2:1 win. The season will end with a Borussen duel against Mönchengladbach.

With four match days to go, BVB are second in the table, one point behind FC Bayern. Accordingly, Dortmund should not normally afford a slip if they want to make the first championship since 2012 clear.

Even though the season is still in full swing, those responsible are of course already working on the plans for the summer break. Sure is: In July the team of coach Lucien Favre travels to the USA to meet the Seattle Sounders. But the highlight of the trip will be the match against FC Liverpool, who will also stop overseas. The duel with former coach Jürgen Klopp will be the first football match to be played at Notre Dame Stadium. More information about the US trip of the Dortmunder can be found here.

Due to the time difference, it is night in Germany when the two games are played.
