Bundesliga: Bobic about Hinteregger: "Don't do stupid things"

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt does not want to pay a horrendous transfer fee for the planned commitment of loan player Martin Hinteregger. “The talks with Augsburg are dragging on and not easy,” said sports director Fredi Bobic in an interview with club media published on Friday.

“Ultimately, it’s an economic decision. We’re not going to do stupid things,” Bobic added.

The club was already in agreement with the 26-year-old Austrian, who had switched from his league rivals FC Augsburg to the Hessian side during the winter break on a loan basis until the end of the season, where he had become the regular player and darling of the audience.

“With him personally we are very far, we are felt through”, said Bobic: “Martin and we agree that he wants to stay in Frankfurt. But there is another side.”
