Bundesliga: Attack on Bayern: Reus sets title goal

Captain Marco Reus can live very well with the title goal for Borussia Dortmund proclaimed by Managing Director Hans-Joachim Watzke.

“The goal should always be to win the contest you’re taking part in. After the last season and our new commitments this summer, I don’t think another season goal makes any sense at all,” the 30-year-old national player told Sport-Bild.

Especially the return of defender Mats Hummels, who has been hired by the BVB of Rivale Bayern Munich for around 30 million Euros, gives Reus a positive outlook: “Mats is of course a sporting reinforcement for us”.

Hermann Hummels, the father and advisor to the 2014 world champion, meanwhile indicated an important reason for leaving Munich.

“A player is usually paid in two currencies: one is his salary, the other is his esteem. Each player has different preferences. Appreciation also plays a very important role for us,” Hummels senior told Sport-Bild.
