On Tuesday evening, after the test match between Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce Istanbul (6:1) in the Allianz Arena, there was a raid against the security service. The German record champion confirmed a corresponding report in the Süddeutsche Zeitung on Saturday.
“The controlled persons are not employees of FC Bayern, but exclusively employees of the corresponding security service provider or its sub-service provider,” the club explained in a statement: “FC Bayern supports the clarification of the incidents and the complaints that have arisen in the process to the best of its ability. If necessary, FC Bayern will draw the appropriate consequences.”
As the SZ reported on Friday evening, 30 customs officers, eleven employees of the municipal trade surveillance and numerous policemen had subjected the stewards to a check after the game. According to this, 253 files were checked according to customs, 194 were recorded as violations of the law or other irregularities.
As the SZ further reports, 100 of the inspected stewards were apparently employed black, i.e. not registered with the social security or did not carry their identity card as prescribed. These cases would now be further examined by customs.
Furthermore, 142 files were proved not to have been properly registered in the national guards’ register. Before being deployed for the first time, employees are checked to see whether, for example, they were members of prohibited organisations or have a criminal record. The latter had been the case with some of the security guards checked in the stadium, and the relevant persons had therefore not been allowed to be employed. In individual cases, the inspected persons also did not have a work permit or residence permit according to customs.
